I’ve found myself reacting and doing a double-take on some replies to messages that I get from both friends and colleagues. Are they using ”AI” to reply to me (or in group chats)? When the whole world is morphing into an uncanny valley where I no longer know who I’m talking to I really don’t feel safe anymore. I don’t straight out ask because I feel rude doing so, and I also think I’m terrified by the potential of being right.
