SFMTA board is hearing Mayor Lurie’s mass displacement plan to banish working-poor, mostly Latino families living in RVs from the city.
Here’s the “refuge permit” designed as window dressing to make liberals feel ok about this. Notice to get one, you have to “agree to accept offer of… interim… housing,” ie agree to be displaced a little later anyway. 💩

C’est évidemment dommage pour les étudiants et étudiantes, mais je me demande s’il est vraiment « trop tôt pour réagir ».
Parce que les universités devraient se poser la question si elles sont prêtes Š s’engager Š faire le nécessaire en cas de refus d’entrée, d’arrestation ou d’expulsion d’un·e étudiant·e.
Et beaucoup des étudiant·e·s suisses sont de nationalité étrangère.

Des étudiants suisses toujours dans l'attente d'un visa pour les Etats-Unis
Les tensions entre Donald Trump et plusieurs universités américaines ont des répercussions jusque chez nous. Certains étudiants suisses ne savent toujours pas s'ils pourront partir étudier dans les universités américaines où ils ont été acceptés.
