Merz ist Jurist und weiß, dass Angriffskriege laut UN-Charta (Art. 2, Abs. 4) rechtswidrig sind. Seine Haltung ist allerdings charakterlos, servil und feige gegenüber Trump – ganz im Sinne deutscher Leitkultur.

…it’s a mistake to •stop• the analysis there. This is not the same old US imperialism as ever. The false wisdom of “They’re all the same” is as always a giant intellectual trap for the left. This is not Iraq again. This is not Chile again. This is not a rerun.

US imperialism was and is a terrible thing with a long history. Also, we are now in uncharted waters. Both these things are true.

@… Ja, aber naja. Wenn es echte, gezielte Sabotage ist, werden wir noch viel viel viel schlimmere und langfristige ähnliche Szenarien erleben.
Normale Spielregeln bzgl. Ausfallsicherheit und Redundanz gehen dann einfach den Bach runter. Bei gezielten Angriffen (inbs. wenn nicht nur physisch sondern auch auf IT-Infrastruktur zugegriffen wird) gibt es sooo viel kapu…

Write about the future you want
There’s a lot that’s not going well; politics, tech bubbles, the economy, and so on. I spend most of my day reading angry tweets and blog posts. There’s a lot to be upset about, so that’s understandable. But in the interest of fostering better discourse, I’d like to offer a challenge that I think the world desperately needs right now: It’s cheap and easy to complain and say “[Thing] is bad”, but it’s also free to share what you think would be better.
