I formalized my first very simple lemma in #leanprover:
A binomial is a polynomial with at most two monomials. If you multiply a monomial with a binomial you get a binomial. This is the distributive law and the fact that monomial times monomial is a monomial.
I used llm help and I don't understand everything written, but this is how I proved it in lean. Now off to the races!
