Lake Mead (Hoover Dam) hat (yet again) den niedrigsten Wasserstand der seit der Füllung in 1937 erreicht. Das letzte mal wurde der "normale" Füllstand im Jahr 2000 erreicht. Seit dem waren bis auf ein Jahr die Abflüsse immer höher als die Zuflüsse.
