I'm pretty happy with the top side Samtec ARF6 launch simulations now.
S11:
* Red: No cutout, -12 dB at 10 GHz, -7 at 20 GHz, -4.8 at 30 GHz
* Blue: Rectangular ground cutout the size of the pad, -22.5 at 10 GHz, -16.4 at 20 GHz, -11.7 at 30 GHz
* Green: 30um larger than the pad on all sides (1.06 x 0.41 mm), -30.5 at 10 GHz, -22 at 20, -15 at 30.
With the oversized cutout it's more than good enough for QSGMII and 25Gbase-R.

There’s a new #OpenStreetMap website feature related to #Wikidata!
When viewing objects in OSM that have a Wikidata tag, you can now click the Wikidata icon to turn the opaque QID values into human-readable info (plus a link to Wikipedia if any).

Suppressing humor while elevating propaganda is how fascism gains ground. You are helping it along.
This is a warning: every dollar I once spent on Disney subscriptions, merchandise, films, and parks will now be withheld. I will also be encouraging others to cancel, divest, and pressure your advertisers and shareholders until Disney/ABC adopts clear, viewpoint-neutral standards that respect all voices equally.
History will not remember kindly the corporations that bent to fear and power, silencing dissent while protecting division. Right now, Disney/ABC is on the wrong side of that history. Shame on you. We will remember!

It all fits. Suppose you’re corporate leadership. You’re laying people off / refusing to hire because you have no clue what things will look like even 1 or 2 years in the future, and you are •terrified•.
Meanwhile, your investors, your gullible trend-chasing investors, are already mentally dividing companies into “pre-AI” and “post-AI.” And not only do you have no idea how to be “post-AI,” but you have no idea whether you’ll be solvent next year. What do you tell them?!??
Obviously you tell them you’re not hiring because you’re having such incredible success with AI! Maybe even you’re going to lay off all the senior people! They’ll love that!
Now you’re not failing and flailing — you’re leading the march into the future! Yay!
