Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has sacked the country’s commander-in-chief General Oleksandr Syrskyi,
after days of widespread protests against the removal of the country’s popular defense minister.
His replacement, Mykhailo Drapatyi, 43, is a younger general
often described as representing a newer generation of military leaders who have forged their careers during the current war with Russia.
The shake up comes after Zelensky last week fired defense minister …
Graham had been advocating for much stronger sanctions on russia. Super lucky for russia: he’s gone now.
“The office of U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham says the South Carolina Republican has died following a brief and sudden illness.”
“In a statement released Sunday, Graham’s office said he passed away Saturday evening, July 11.”
“Graham had recently returned from a trip to Kyiv, Ukraine, where he met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Friday.”
