This applies to all of us #Researchers - why do we keep flying all around the world just to give (or watch) some talks that could have been given or watched online???
Yes, in-person conferences are slightly better for "networking"... but is this really worth destroying the planet?!

I feel stupid for asking this… but is there still no good way to checkout and later pull a pull request branch from another repo?
We've got `gh pr checkout NUMBER` but the only way I've found to fetch updates is to delete the local branch and start over.
I really don't want to play adlib with manually adding remotes etc – is this still the best we can do in 2025??

@hynek @carlton Drop fetch.all=true and that fixes it.You may need to learn to use git remote update instead of git fetch though.And I’d consider filing this as a bug upstream, because as you said ...

Spotted at the therapist.

A crocheted little creature holding a sign that reads, "Emotional Support Dumpster Fire" with the subtext, "It's fine. I'm fine. Everything is fine!" The creature is vaguely dumpster shaped (kind of roundish actually, but they were going for a cube), orange, with orange little hands holding the sign and grey little round feet. It has a smiley face, and the top of the dumpster is gray with curls of orange crocheted flames coming out of the top left side.
