Yesterday, I ordered a new pair of hemp shoes from 8000kicks.
UPS says they had in in Leiria, Portugal 2 hours ago - and plan to deliver it to me BY END OF DAY. That's about 2000km in less than 12 hours.
I'm not sure if that means I have to clear the field outside our house for landing of a freight plane or a helicopter - or if I just should expect a giant crater.

Five good things instead of three today:
1. Passed mid term project review with flying colours, technical officer proclaimed himself "impressed" (phew).
2. Visited super cool facility at DTU and learned a lot about measuring sunlight. Hopefully the start of some interesting new collaborations
3. Took my 2 wonderful teens out for vegan hotpot dinner in Vesterbro to celebrate end of their exams.
4. Lay out in garden listening to the blackbirds and identified 5 separate bee species within 10 mins
5. Tea and TV on the sofa with aforementioned teens just relaxing.
Perfect day really.

I have the desire to potter about with plants and get my new raised fruit/veg bed sorted out but apart from the blistering temperatures I've picked up a completely flattening virus from a colleague so I don't have the energy. I keep falling asleep when I sit down. I've put some nasturtium seedlings into a planter, moved the radish planter to the veg area and helped move a couple of bits into our summer seating area and that's me done.
