The conference also has a cinema room, showing bitcoin based films. Not mine, but I'm here for "finding home" by avi burra. Who did q&a after.
A short Travelog about a visit a cypherpunk in Prague for BTC Prague. Which was a much bigger bitcoin conference.
Lots of shots of a beautiful European city, and brief interviews with the people there. Many at restaurants where meals are paid for with bitcoin.
I guess they have a circular economy there of some sort.
Conclusion seems to be that fixing the money is important but building community is even more importanter.

My favorite video game company is currently making news because they admitted to falling to AI hype and pushing it on employees even though they’ve (predictably) seen no actual benefits.
I am sad about it but, in good news, writing with a fountain pen continues to be an extreme delight.
I developed carpal tunnel nine years ago, and handwriting would always be a stolen joy in the brief moments before pain would start again. I have been feeling nearly 0 pain in the last two weeks despite filling 50 pages. I feel like I’ve been given a new lease on life in a small way.

Zum ersten Mal in einer neuen Arztpraxis, ich bekomme einen Stapel Formulare zum Ausfüllen. Eines davon eine Einwilligungserklärung in die Datenbearbeitung, die auf die "folgende Seite" verweist.
Diese "folgende Seite" war eingeschweisst, und ich erhielt sie nur zur Ansicht und sofortigen Rückgabe nach Unterschrift.
Dass ich beides fotografiert habe, hat man nicht verstanden.🤦♀️
