Det er snart 10 år siden jeg var med på å skrive denne kronikken om fremtiden for Den norske filmskolen. Jeg står fremdeles for innholdet, men dessverre virker det som de viktigste kampene er tapt.

Handlefriheten som Filmskolen på Lillehammer har vært avhengig av for å skape en fremragende utdanning, er under sterkt press. En rekke organisasjoner er bekymret i kjølvannet av fusjonen mellom høgskolene Lillehammer og Hedmark.

I have been using Moom (https://manytricks.com/moom/) for clever window management on my Mac, their licensing is fucking stupid and I am sick of filing issues to get hold of license files.
Anyone else have a similarly good tool they can recommend?

Soundtrack design is a lost art. There are far too many films drowning in strings now. Stir the feelings demands the director who is in too weak to let the story do the job.

This is exactly the thing I wonder about. Was it shoved through over internal objections? Was it many teams’ separate good work stuck together too hastily? Was it the wrong kind of pressure from above, or bad taste from below, or what?
It’s frustrating because as a dev I catch glimpses of all the really fantastic engineering work folks at Apple are doing •inside• the box, and they’re feeling very little love for it right now because the •outside•is so clunky.
