Had a bit of an unpleasant surprise on Saturday. Luckily the disk is still in warranty, and UPS picked it up this morning. Let's see how well Toshiba's RMA process performs.
No smart warnings or other signs, though, it just fell off the bus, started making weird noises and never came back. And it's the newest of the 4 disks in my NAS, too. Really glad I bought this model from two different vendors now to avoid clustering risks.
