The world continues to dawdle politically in its response to the climate crisis
but clean energy is booming,
-- responsible for almost all new energy capacity and drawing double the investment of fossil fuels globally. The market has shifted.
Most starkly, though, Trump has become the planet’s foremost advocate of fossil fuels,
throwing the might of the US presidency into a rearguard battle to keep the world mired in the era of combusted carbon.

Short day today as the worker had to leave early for some sort of appointment.
Still, the hanging rails are up inside the wardrobe, the racks are up in the closet to support the adjustable shelves in there, the fixed shelves at the side of the cupboard are up.
I thought I smelled paint for a while before he left but turns out that was "wood filler", apparently filling the holes in the natural wood?
Not sure what this frame will be. Is it the edges for a panel door? Is it the start of the windowed doors for the top cupboards? Dunno.

To my mind the following article suggests that the present day "AI" approach is very wrong.
Why? Because biological RI (Real Intelligence) out performs CI (Computer Intelligence) by orders of magnitude on many dimensions: power required (perhaps 20 to 50 watts for the human brain), weight, size, cooling, and ability to innovate in new ways.
Our present digital computer approach to intelligence seems about as apt as trying to power passenger airplanes using onboard coal…

Still feeling a little depressed and down about the #bluejays loss.
I think the worst part is they had so many chances to win it. They came so close so many times in so many different ways.
