This Valkyrie poster really seems to be making fun of Tom Cruise.
#TomCruise #Films

A part of the poster for the films Valkyrie (2008).

The image is of a group of men in lined up on either side of Tom Cruise. The line is actually in a arrow-shape. Since Tom Cruise is in the front he is bigger than the others but he isn't just a little bigger, he looks like the tallest man in the world.

I've read the following rhetorical question recently:
If “vote blue no matter who” doesn't apply to Zohran Mamdani, what does it actually mean?
...and despite all of us understanding the implication, let me actually try to give an answer, as the slogan emerged specifically from US politics, but this phenomenon hasn't.
This specific statement asking people to always vote for the democratic party, no matter who the candidate is, has always been thrown…

Albany Georgia isn’t the only place where the poorest among us are also the sickest.
The United States is blessed with one of the most scientifically and technologically advanced health care systems in the world,
a sprawling industry so vast and lucrative that it is now one of the largest drivers of the economy,
accounting for more jobs and revenue than manufacturing.
But for all the money flowing in and out,
Americans have more chronic illnesses and shorte…

I've been using Broadcom/VMware ESXI 8 U3 on a Gen 15 Intel Ultra 9 powered box.
Gack, you would think that a giant company like Broadcom/VMware would keep its software up to date.
But no. One has to jump through special configuration hoops (not documented except by third parties) to even get ESXI loaded.
And then if one wants to use USB-4/Thunderbolt based network interface devices one has to find and install a "FLING" patch.
It seems to me that Broadc…

Growing up, I considered becoming a medical illustrator due to its combination of scientific and artistic rigor. Neither is on display in this derivative AI image shared by a surgeon too lazy to find the real thing.

They have a great “big” point here about incrementalism but also: fiber, water, and even minimal activity specifically are great first steps towards feeling better.
I suspect that a lot of us 1st-worlders feel lousy in part because we’re each paving our own way to T2D, colon cancer, and heart disease. @…
