My favorite video game company is currently making news because they admitted to falling to AI hype and pushing it on employees even though they’ve (predictably) seen no actual benefits.
I am sad about it but, in good news, writing with a fountain pen continues to be an extreme delight.
I developed carpal tunnel nine years ago, and handwriting would always be a stolen joy in the brief moments before pain would start again. I have been feeling nearly 0 pain in the last two weeks despite filling 50 pages. I feel like I’ve been given a new lease on life in a small way.

i have not looked into it, but there has to be something fishy about those drones flying in the sky with lights as a replacement for fireworks and doing cool symbols. they're too good to be true. something about it gotta be wrong that's just always the case

In RTLnieuws een kok die het jammer zou vinden als kleine mooie boeren bedrijven (met een goed product) zouden verdwijnen.
Als ik zo wel naar koffie als koeien kijk, heb je je juist specialisten die hun eigen niche creëren. Uit beide soorten ken ik ze. Ze hebben vooral vaste klantenkring. Zowel voor de koffie als vlees geldt dat het bij die niches om de smaak (kwaliteit) gaat.
Bij de koffie zie je tot nu toe dat flinke prijsstijgingen in de goedkope koffies zat.

2001 hatte ich das Vergnügen die Formation Old Friends feat. Klaus Doldinger, Albert Mangelsdorff, Eberhard Weber, Wolfgang Dauner, Manfred Schoof, Ralf Hübner in Ingolstadt anläßlich des Ingolstädter Jazzfestivals live zu sehen.

Klaus Doldinger galt als Deutschlands "König des Jazz". Als Komponist der "Tatort"-Titelmelodie und der Filmmusik von "Das Boot" oder "Die unendliche Geschichte" verewigte er sich bei einem Millionenpublikum. Nun ist er im Alter von 89 Jahren gestorben.
