saw jimmy cliff once, like 20 years ago, when i was on vacation with my family & he happened to be playing on the island where we were. he came on wayyyy late, maybe even after midnight, following like a half-dozen local reggae acts, & holy shit that voice was right there. so captivating & joyous.

call me crazy but I don't think competitive sports should have moneyback guarantees. if you only support your club when you're winning you should just stick to watching sports films

Late Saturday, Oct. 18, Donald Trump posted an AI-generated video on his Truth Social account that portrayed him dumping brown sludge on a crowd of protesters while wearing a crown and flying overhead in a jet labeled “King Trump.”
The music accompanying the video clip was Kenny Loggins’ hit recording “Danger Zone,” from the 1986 motion picture Top Gun (it was also used in the 2022 sequel Top Gun: Maverick).

I remember one of Creed's song, 'One Last Breath'. The lyric is:
'Hold me now
I'm six feet from the edge and I'm thinking
Maybe six feet ain't so far down'
I feel, yes, it is my life. Physical exercise and sunshine are the twin angels who hold me from falling to the cliff.
Even so, falling to the cliff is a real danger which I often face. Why, since the angels do not always hold me tightly.
