- finally finding a broken transistor and replaced it temporarily.
- mounting back the pcb. Only finding three of the four screws, oh well, it's probably on the floor somewhere.
- plugging in the power to test before finishing up. Sparks flying.
- finding the missing screw lodged in under the power supply, shorting done high voltage parts.
- something's telling me I might need more parts....

I went to the local hill / mountain today to escape the fog / clouds. Well and also to see whether the fog would create some nice mood to capture along the way that I'm walking rather often.
And indeed it was a very pleasant experience to walk into the fog and breaking through it to see some blue sky.

Vacuum ultraviolet (VUV) radiation produced by an atmospheric pressure plasma was successfully measured down to wavelengths of 58.4nm utilizing a 20nm thin Si3N4 membrane to transfer the VUV radiation into a vacuum monochromator. This method allows measurements without disturbing the plasma or the spectra. He2 absorption could be observed by filling the monochromator with He.
