A collapse of legal immigration options are the root cause of all of our immigration problems.
We need more paths for people who are not refugees, asylees, relatives of citizens, or otherwise specially eligible for immigrant visas.
But of course that’s not happening in any foreseeable future. Not sure why I bothered thinking about it…
