For my voting in the EU parliament, I entered a school (junior education) while they were having class, and I noticed that even the very young kids were behind laptops. This is a massive difference compared to my childhood when only the final junior years were allowed to use calculators.
I have no criticism (tools are tools, whether they are an abacus or a laptop), but I am surprised at how much progress humanity has made. 🤯
