Ok, just a smol rant... Every time theres a new job platform, it's pretty neccessary to upload a whole portfolio again. And once all the images, and text are uploaded, the tags need to be accurate so they appear in site-searches correctly.
Not only that, but it then needs to be maintained. So, any changes or new projects to add... need to be done on every platform.
Am I wrong in thinking this is so incredibly tedious? lol

We have been involved in the creation of multiple software systems for computer algebra, including Reduce, Maple, Axiom and Aldor as well as a number of smaller specialised programs. We relate observations on how the meaning of software portability has changed over time and how it continues to evolve. We describe how the systems with which we have first-hand experience have achieved portability, how the central issues have changed over time and the challenges that remain.

I'm making my SmartHome dumb again.
I got rid of my Google Assistants, smart lights, and plugs, and switched to LED bulbs to save energy. On top of this, I got a portable solar panel to charge my small devices.
For the evening, I now have a USB rechargeable LED light.
I’m doing this to reduce the cost of my electricity bill. Plus, it’s a good way to get rid of big tech products.
