In this Letter, we propose that superradiant echoes can be achieved at room temperature by applying a laser illumination and a microwave Hahn echo sequence to a diamond with a high concentration of nitrogen-vacancy (NV) centers placed in a dielectric microwave cavity. Our evening watching the local single A ball club, the Salem Red Sox, with friends was cut short. You could see the curtain of rain rapidly advancing down the mountains and towards the ballpark.
Surprisingly they didn’t stop the game for thunder and lightning, but once the tarps came out, we knew they’d have to call it.
Instead we ended up going out for dinner, which was a delight.
