Monthly check-in. Not panicking yet as I have 11 more months and people fluctuate by a few pounds every day. I also have done nothing remotely serious about meeting my goal and in fact had several family celebrations in January that involved really good food. It was heavily implied that the power going out in Caracas shortly before the US raid was a cyber operation.
In the same way that the US fears Chinese equipment will be remotely commandeered for military or espionage uses, governments will probably be looking at where US company equipment sits in their critical infrastructure.
I imagine they'll be requesting software inspection and reproducible build chains, as the UK did for Huawei.

Free Words was an art project I started in 2001. It was a hot pink artists book I described as “a book that belonged to anyone who found it.” I placed it onto the shelves of bookstores and libraries to be discovered, and people who found it had to make an uncomfortable decision about whether they were truly free to carry it away.
