We demonstrate a new technique that adapts single-qubit randomized benchmarking to two-qubit Mølmer-Sørensen gates. We use the controllable gate phase to generate Cliffords that act on a two-state subspace, enabling benchmarking of two-qubit gates without single-qubit operations.
