Obesity & diet
I wouldn't normally share a positive story about the new diet drugs, because I've seen someone get obsessed with them who was at a perfectly acceptable weight *by majority standards* (surprise: every weight is in fact perfectly acceptable by *objective* standards, because every "weight-associated" health risk is its own danger that should be assessed *in individuals*). I think two almost-contradictory things:
1. In a society shuddering under the burden of metastasized fatmisia, there's a very real danger in promoting the new diet drugs because lots of people who really don't need them will be psychologically bullied into using them and suffer from the cost and/or side effects.
2. For many individuals under the assault of our society's fatmisia, "just ignore it" is not a sufficient response, and also for specific people for whom decreasing their weight can address *specific* health risks/conditions that they *want* to address that way, these drugs can be a useful tool.
I know @… to be a trustworthy & considerate person, so I think it's responsible to share this:

Vierter #Kaffee und erster z'Morge (für die überregionale Leserschaft: #Frühstück 😉) nach der Physio um halb eins am #Röschibachplatz
Der Spruch auf der Deckenlampe von

Ein "Cruffin" (wohl ein blätterteigiger Muffin) und ein Iced Matcha Latte auf einer kreisförmigen Holzbank. Direkt vor der Bank steht ein halb gefaltetes, orangefarbenes Brompton Electric G-Line Faltrad, an dem ein gelber Fahrradhelm hängt. Im Hintergrund das Café Nordbrücke.
Doppelwürfel-förmige Deckenlampe. Der erste Würfel ist aus Milchglas, hat nach vorne und zur Seite das Logo von Vicafe und auf der Unterseite den Spruch "Kafi macht alles bizz okayer". Der zweite Würfel dahinter ist schwarz, undurchsichtig, unten offen und hat drei in verschiedene Richtungen zeigende Strahler drin.
Ein Aufkleber auf einem kupfernen Regenrohr, der optisch sehr einer Marlboro-Zigarettenpackung nachgemacht ist, aber miit dem Schriftzug "Oerlikon" und einer schwarzweissen Luftaufnahme vieler Wohnblocks und Hochäusern.
Ein an ein Vorhängeschloss erinnerndes, mit einem Zahlenschloss gesichertes Kästchen, aufgehängt hinter einem kupfernem Regenrohr an dessen Wandhalterung.

Die EU steht vor einem weitreichenden Schritt zum Schutz von Kindern im digitalen Raum! Unter Führung der dänischen EU-Ratspräsidentschaft hat sich eine überwältigende Mehrheit der Mitgliedstaaten für die Einführung eines "digitalen Mündigkeitsalters" ausgesprochen.

📖 Ich habe Angst vor #Groupies. Das Gekreische und Herumgezerre ist wirklich schlimm. Also keine #Buchmesse.🤭
Deshalb stelle ich Euch erlauchten #Nerds (lt. Sascha Lobo 😁) hier eines meiner

Buch mit einem Coverbild, das einen Wald mit vielen abgestorbenen, kahlen Bäumen zeigt. Die Baumstämme sind dünn und größtenteils ohne Äste, einige sind abgebrochen. Am Boden liegen mehrere umgestürzte Baumstämme. Dazwischen wachsen einige grüne, junge Nadelbäume. Der Himmel ist blau und wolkenlos. Das Buch liegt auf einer Holzoberfläche mit klaren, horizontal verlaufenden Maserungen.
