This is a totally sensible policy for video editing. The marketing term "AI" is absolutely misplaced for modern features like matte creation (image segmentation, background removal) or motion tracking (and pose estimation) and even speech-to-text transcription. These things have existed for a long time - just not as good - and they run locally in an open-source NLE (non-linear editor).
