Totally agree with this. Giving blood is a pretty straightforward process and makes a huge difference, especially if you are a rarer and quite awesome blood type such as O-, the universal donor. #GiveBlood

It's that time of year when my blood donation account gets triggered as active but I sadly am still unable to give blood due to long covid. If you can donate blood, I would love it if you would consider giving it a go. In the UK, it is super easy, all the staff I've ever met are delightful, and you get free snack and drink at the end! Also, donating blood saves lives so why not go for it. I'm no expert but happy to discuss my experience if that'd help. UK link here https://www.blood.co.uk/

Ich muss jetzt mal kurz eine Lanze für Microsoft und für AI / KI brechen.
Hätte die Qualität der Software und des Supports bei Microsoft Windows sowie bei Microsoft 265 / Exchange / Onedrive nicht so massiv abgenommen und KI nicht alles schlimmer gemacht, hätte ich nie überlegt, der IT den Rücken zuzukehren.
So habe ich nun aber der IT Tschüss gesagt, werde zum Jahresende nach 25 Jahren bei meinem jetzigen Arbeitgeber aufhören und zum 1.1.27 was ganz anderes machen.

I know this won't change anything, but I have completely stopped giving reviews on products sold on Amazon. Unless it's something wrong with the product and I want to warn people, I don't bother giving my free labor to them.

A scatter plot showing the latency of fixes (i.e. how long ago the commit a Fix was done). It shows a general trend to fixes coming from older code and an increasing density of fixes in the last year or so.

Man did I pick up a good book right now: The Yahoo Boys: Love, Deception, and the Real Lives of Nigeria's Romance Scammers
A journalist from Spain went to Nigeria and located a few Nigerian scammers that run all of these romance/gift card scams and wrote about who they are, how they get into it, how they live etc. It's a bit unreal how it's almost like a sport to these guys. Very fascinating.
It's says unreleased but somehow my library had this /shrug
