I removed a `set -x VARNAME ...` line from my fish config.
Spawning a new shell still had that variable.
I ran `set -e VARNAME`. For the current shell, it's gone.
Spawning a new shell again, I got it back. What..?
Okay, so I closed _all the fish instances_.
And the damn env var came back *again*!?!
Looks like that's because it's my login shell.
A fresh login session no longer had it.

Had planned to fit it in a real fish can,
but decided would be better, and simpler, to print the can too and make it bigger.
After some refinement in blender, I printed it on My A1 mini.
(had a few problems on the guitar supports)
I fit tested the parts
Then sanded, repared, replaced parts, broked parts, moaning, re-repaired, re-sanded...

A thread about a Christmas gift I did for (one of) my brother.
It's a 3d modeled, 3d printed sculpture, composed of 6 monsters in a mackerel fish can.
why 6 ? because our mother used to call him "6 monstres, Š lui tout seul" (six Monsters, all by himself)
In french "six monstres" sound a bit like "Simon".

@grifferz@social.bitfolk.comThe greyhounds at the WGW kennels still need their walks even on Christmas day so we've been open as usual for volunteer walkers, and got a good turnout. Every hound managed a walk in the winter sunshine.
Not only that though: over the last few days our volunteers have cooked and delivered more than 25 whole chickens, as well as sausages, vegetables and fish, so that the hounds could enjoy a special Christmas meal today too!
