some quick Dagger Heart observations after watching Critical Role a bunch:
- Really nice seeing them not need to figure out initiative
- Fear/Hope is a little interesting but does not seem very impactful
- Death stuff has been fun but can see how it could suck.
- It is so similar to D&D it feels about the same.

We prove that the generic quantum speedups for brute-force search and counting only hold when the process we apply them to can be efficiently inverted. For a pair of rectangular matrices $X, Y$ where the corresponding entries are jointly Gaussian and i.i.d., we analyse the support of the eigenvalue spectrum of $XY^\dagger$.
