"use of force authorization" could be read to extend
when it starts with no limiting principle
-- no armed attack, no organized armed group fighting the United States
-- and is in fact explicitly authorizing widespread murder of mere suspects

It's worth examining this alongside the 2001 AUMF authorizing force against al Qaeda. Note the 2001 explicit tie to the actual armed attacks of 9/11. And note the lack of any tie to an armed attack in the proposal to give POTUS power to wage war against drug cartels and nations he claims harbor them

Nice new accessible trail in #McLarenPark from Mansell Promenade to John F. Shelley Promenade. No more need to loop around up a steep hill on Shelley to get to the part with the great views west.

Paved path branching off the Mansell Promenade, itself a wide paved path with designated areas for walking and for biking in each direction.
Path continues, curving around higher ground on the left. Cut tree branches lie in a barren area to the right of the path, a tree is off to the left.
Path continues and meets up with another paved path, turning right to the road (Shelley Promenade).
Path ends onto Shelley Promenade with a curb ramp. To the right, Shelley descends a steep hill.

For the past three weeks, I’ve been attending protests at the Broadview ICE facility.
There’s been a vigil there for almost two decades at this point, but they started ramping up after three protesters were arrested four weeks ago.
Three weeks ago, we went, and it was very peaceful.
We ended up actually getting a car to turn around.
Last week, when we went, ICE assaulted a lot of us.
We went early because they changed their deportation time to around 6 a.m.
