Can you do a favor for my friend @…? He was already having a lousy enough week with his car and his city falling apart when state troopers arrested his wife @… for protesting against the murder of Alex Pretti. (Arrested for what? AFAICT, they were just looking to make an example of some protestors. Just good old harassment via the legal system.)

Unser Silvesterfeuerwerk: tierfreundlich, weil sehr leise. Im Vergleich zu herkömmlichem Feuerwerk eine überschaubare Menge Feinstaub, und mit einer guten halben Stunde Brenndauer übersichtlich viel CO2-Ausstoß. Das Brennholz sind heruntergefallene und zurück gesägte Äste von Bäumen auf unserem Grundstück.

📢 Bus- und Bahnverkehr: Ver.di ruft zu Streik am Montag auf
Die Gewerkschaft ver.di ruft die Beschäftigen von kommunalen Betrieben im öffentlichen Nahverkehr zum Streik auf. Am Montag sollen bundesweit Busse und Bahnen stillstehen. Fahrgäste müssen mit Problemen rechnen. Ver.di will in der aktuellen Tarifrunde Druck auf die Arbeitgeber machen.

At this point, if you don't find AI tools useful for code generation, that's a skill issue.
(The issue is that you are an actually competent programmer who knows how to do things like abstract boilerplate code into a helper function or practice test-driven development, and therefore you recognize the AI tool "assistance" as a net productivity loss. If you aren't good enough on your own that AI slows you down, the "speedup" you'll experience can only come at a crippling quality cost, which you might not even be able to recognize until it's too late.)
