Heute vor 6 Jahren realisierte ich, dass wir mit dem Coronavirus ein echtes Problem haben. Die Wochen vorher zweifelte ich noch. Ich war ganz zu Beginn sozusagen Querdenker. Ab Mitte März 2020 begann jedoch dieses Ereignis, mein Leben und das meiner Frau zu verändern wie noch nichts zuvor.
Was ist seither passiert? Grundsätzlich gilt immer noch das, was in meinem Profil oben angepinnt ist. Ich wollte jedoch mal ein Update posten, FHIMC, you are not alone …

I don't know of this company.
Anyway, isn't it beyond time that the fatuous goal of "economic growth" was abandoned once and for all? And then refocus on real economic and social goals, adequate to a finite planet?

Anzahl der installierten Windkraftanlagen pro Jahr in Deutschland mit Stand vom 10.03.2026. Die Grafik zeigt ein vertikales Balkendiagramm. Die Höhe jedes Balkens entspricht der Anzahl neuer Inbetriebnahmen pro Jahr (Wertbeschriftung auf jedem Balken). Bis Ende der 1980er Jahre liegen die jährlichen Zuwächse bei unter zehn Anlagen, ab 1990 steigt die Zahl kontinuierlich. Spitzenwerte erreichen über 2100 in den Jahren 2002 und 2017. Deutliche Einbrüche zeigen die Jahre 2008 und 2018.

My job these days is teaching TLA+ and formal methods: specifying designs to find bugs in them. But just knowing the syntax isn’t enough to write specs, and it helps to have examples to draw from. I recently read Chris Siebenmann’s Even in Go, concurrency is still not easy and thought it would make a good case study for writing a spec. In it, he gives an example of Go code which deadlocks:
