Asteroseismology of the G8 subgiant beta Aquilae with SONG-Tenerife, SONG-Australia and TESS
We present radial velocities of the G8 subgiant star beta Aql obtained in 2022 and 2023 using SONG-Tenerife and SONG-Australia. We also analysed a sector of TESS photometry that overlapped with the 2022 SONG data. We processed the time series to assign weights and to remove bad data points. The power spectrum clearly shows solar-like oscillations centred at 430 muHz. Hedging Deposit Run Risk Prior to the 2023 Regional Banking Crisis
In this analysis we determine factors driving the cross-sectional variation in uninsured deposits during the interest rate raising cycle of 2022 to 2023. The goal of our analysis is to determine whether banks proactively managed deposit run risk prior to the hiking cycle which produced the 2023 Regional Banking Crisis. This study presents a novel search for magnetic monopoles using data collected over a 14 year period (2008-2022) by the ANTARES neutrino telescope. The interaction of magnetic monopoles with matter was modeled according to Kazama, Yang, and Goldhaber cross-section.
