My fine "new" (2023) bike is in the shop, so I unmothballed my trusty classic steed for today's ride. After a go with the tire pump, I was off like the wind. There's something exquisite about a strong and simple piece of engineering. That old bike is 39 years old! I bought it new back in California in the day. It's still a sweet ride.

Die Frucht liegt schräg zwischen mehreren kräftigen, behaarten Stängeln. Links im Bild befinden sich mehrere längliche, grüne Paprikaschoten an einer benachbarten Pflanze. Oh wow. It looks like I last used HaikuOS for real in 2023 judging by screenshots, but holy moly, it's come a long way since. Typing this from my LibreWolf with extensions running and everything. There are minor issues with some of these Wayland/GTK ports, but they are absolutely usable. And lots of software has shown up in HaikuDepot since last time. I just wish sound was working on my hardware so this could be a fully viable desktop for me.

We compute the Hausdorff dimension of the set of simultaneously $λ$-well approximable points on the Veronese curve in $\RR^3$ for $1/3\le λ\le 3/5$. This range for $λ$ was predicted in the conjecture of Beresnevich and Yang from~\cite{ber_yan_2023}. To the best of the author's knowledge, this makes $\VVV_3$ the first nondegenerate curve in $\RR^n$, $n\ge 3$, to confirm the lower bound part of this conjecture.
