The hard-core probabilistic cellular automaton has attracted a renewed interest in the last few years, thanks to its connection with the study of a combinatorial game on percolation configurations. We provide an alternative proof for the ergodicity of this PCA for a neighbourhood of size $2$ and $3$, using the notion of decorrelated islands introduced by Casse in 2023, together with some new ideas. This shortens the previous proofs and provides a more intuitive and unified approach.

We study a generalisation of the one-dimensional Rademacher random walk introduced in Bhattacharya and Volkov (2023) to $\mathbb{Z}^2$ (for $d\ge 3$, the Rademacher random walk is always transient, as follows from Theorem 8.8 in Englander and Volkov (2025)). Es ist damit nach der Konversionstherapien-Stopp- (Mai), und der Sichere-Abtreibungs- (April) die dritte Europäische Bürgerinitiative dieses Jahr, die die Unterschriftenhürde schafft.
In den letzten Jahren haben das nur die Anti-Pelz- (2023) und Anti-Tierversuch- (2022) -Initiativen geschafft.

We present a detailed analysis of a C9.3 white-light flare using high-resolution observations from the New Vacuum Solar Telescope (NVST).
