“AI” es una tecnología relativamente nueva. Él aparecí al comienzo del ano 2023 y cambió ršpidamente la manera que los personas en línea buscaban y creaban. Realmente, “AI” no esta inteligente, mejor dicho uno modelo de lenguaje grande, “LLM” en inglés. LLM significa que los ordenadores que les alimentan no usan razón, pero los intentos a predecir una respuesta de una pregunta o mensaje en función de los patrones de palabras y mensajes en les bancos de datos.(1)
La tecnología ha contribuido en gran medida al progreso del sociedad. La tecnología agrícola lo hizo posible para humanidad a crecer y cambiar de nómada a creer asentamientos y eventualmente ciudades mas grandes. La hecha posible a usar recursos del medio ambiente en nos sociedades. Pero la tecnología ha creado grandes problemas también como desigualdad o cambio climštico.
Yo creo que, en la mayoría de situaciones, la tecnología es una fuerza positiva en la sociedad. Las problemas son creado por los personas sin moralidad, a menudo para la acumulación de la riqueza, influencia, y autoridad. Si la población puede mantener la influencia democrštica para reglamentar la tecnología, como la AI, para el beneficio de la población y los individuos, entonces la tecnología puede contribuir a la progresión de la sociedad.
Finalmente, si los individuos son compasivos y respetuosos, la tecnología reflejarš esa también.

Abstract: Vector similarity search is an essential primitive in modern AI and ML applications. Most vector databases adopt graph-based approximate nearest neighbor (ANN) search algorithms, such as DiskANN (Subramanya et al., 2019), which have demonstrated state-of-the-art empirical performance. DiskANN's graph construction is governed by a reachability parameter $\alpha$, which gives a trade-off between construction time, query time, and accuracy. However, adaptively tuning this trade-off typically requires rebuilding the index for different $\alpha$ values, which is prohibitive at scale. In this work, we propose RP-Tuning, an efficient post-hoc routine, based on DiskANN's pruning step, to adjust the $\alpha$ parameter without reconstructing the full index. Within the $\alpha$-reachability framework of prior theoretical works (Indyk and Xu, 2023; Gollapudi et al., 2025), we prove that pruning an initially $\alpha$-reachable graph with RP-Tuning preserves worst-case reachability guarantees in general metrics and improved guarantees in Euclidean metrics. Empirically, we show that RP-Tuning accelerates DiskANN tuning on four public datasets by up to $43\times$ with negligible overhead.

Abstract: Bubeck and Sellke (2021) pose as an open problem the connection between the law of robustness and robust generalization. The law of robustness states that overparameterization is necessary for models to interpolate robustly; in particular, robust interpolation requires the learned function to be Lipschitz. Robust generalization asks whether small robust training loss implies small robust test loss. We resolve this problem by explicitly connecting the two for arbitrary data distributions. Specifically, we introduce a nontrivial notion of robust generalization error and convert it into a lower bound on the expected Rademacher complexity of the induced robust loss class. Our bounds recover the $\Omega(n^{1/d})$ regime of Wu et al.\ (2023) and show that, up to constants, robust generalization does not change the order of the Lipschitz constant required for smooth interpolation. We conduct experiments to probe the predicted scaling with dataset size and model capacity, testing whether empirical behavior aligns more closely with the predictions of Bubeck and Sellke (2021) or Wu et al.\ (2023). For MNIST, we find that the lower-bound Lipschitz constant scales on the order predicted by Wu et al.\ (2023). Informally, to obtain low robust generalization error, the Lipschitz constant must lie in a range that we bound, and the allowable perturbation radius is linked to the Lipschitz scale.
