I hate how rapidly Intel EOL's CPUs.
Like, my office workstation has a pair of Skylake-SP's (Xeon Scalable Gold 6144) which were launched in Q3 17 and hit end of support in December 2023. That's only six years.
And Vtune 2024.x is the last version that supports it. I have to pin an old version of VTune to be able to do profiling now.

Another year, another bunch of books.
I spend most of the year binging through thriller series that I had already had started in 2024.
The books I really liked were the newest book from the Slough House series, the spy novel The Persian, and Fundamentals of Software Architecture (even if I didn't finish it).

Nachdem gestern noch ein paar Besorgungen zu erledigen waren, ist mein #Frostpendeln Endstand für die Saison 2025/26 bei 1026km und damit ganze 477km mehr als letzte Saison.
Schade, dass die heutige Radtour durch's #Furttal und

Frostpendeln Monats- und Wochenvergleich meiner Kilometer zwischen der Saison 2024/25 in blau und 2025/26 in rot als Liniendiagramm. Beim Monatsvergleich in der aktuellen Saison immer deutlich mehr Kilometer als das Jahr zuvor geschafft. Beim Wochenvergleich gibt's nur 4 Wochen, in denen ich in der Vorsaison mehr Kilometer gefahren bin als in der aktuellen Saison. Und zwei davon auch nur sehr knapp. Ausserdem bin ich letztes Jahr an zwei Wochen rund um den Jahreswechsel gar nicht radgefahren.
