#Homeassistant update 2026.4.2. What could possibly go wrong? A dot release before going to bed, sure. OK. Does not boot. OK, try reboot again. Nope. OK, restore from backup (which it does before the update). Oh, now the backups don't work anymore. Get around the 500 by creating a dummy user. Uploading backup and restore: Does not boot. Try older backup. Same. Try new SD Card. Same. 2h wasted instead of sleep and no HA anymore. *sigh*

I started watching this on netflix, but had to turn it off. It's too much at the moment. Last year I visited Phnom Penh, s21 and the killing Fields. It's still fresh in my memory.

Heute dann gegen 14:45 Uhr doch noch #rausgeschafft, sodass ich kurz vor Ladenschluß bei der Bike-Zone Baden war, um ein Velorücklicht mit gelben Seitenmarkern (ja, aus Amiland 🤓) zu kaufen, das ich eigentlich nicht brauche, dort aber deutlich günstiger war als sonstwo. 1h 9m Halle -> Magdeburg (ca. 100km).
Magdeburg ist bahntechnisch schon irgendwie abgehängt, jedenfalls bei den Südverbindungen. Oft ist es gleich schnell erst nach Hannover zu fahren und von da nach München.
