Spent 3 hours with a MA student to finish our pilot experiment for her research project (it’s launched!), meeting 1 with former current PhD students on paper edits, meeting 2a b with another current PhD student on paper edits slides for a talk (different topic), meeting 3 with a future PhD student and their second supervisor on “what it means to do a PhD”, then 7 meetings with students on their term paper topics. 😅 All made possible by the fact that virtually all of German academia is on vacation, so I received a single digit number of actionable emails today #academicChatter
