Surfing Ability Summit page at 200% with my keyboard (as one does) and came across this weird control.
Turns out it’s a roled-up button that launches Microsoft Immersive reader. Which is crap at 200%, it turns out.
Anyway, use native HTML buttons and let users rely on their browser’s reader mode.

A book / speaker icon overflowing its container with dev tools showing it’s a div with a button role, an icon from a CSS glyph in an I element that has presentation role, and the button has both aria-label and title of “10:15 AM–11:15 AM | BRK010 - Building NeuroInclusive Employee Experiences | Room: McKinley Immersive Reader”.
The new view where the bottom half of the “Immersive Reader” is clipped, the lines of text run out of the viewport to the right with no scrollbar, the Play and Voice Settings buttons overlap one another, and the circle defining the bounds of Voice Settings is itself offset above the icon and mostly over the Play button.

Recently unpacked an older favourite #MechanicalKeyboard of mine and using it since then: The rather flat #VortexGear #Race3 with

A compact and flat (but not as flat as laptop style keyboards) 75% keyboard with thin metal bezels laying on a brow desk. it has keycaps with rounded corners and a color scheme as well as legends like board game Scrabble. Especially all letter key caps have small numbers in their bottom right corners. And the number keys row has the special characters printed in the center and the numbers in a smaller font in the bottom right corners, too.

Kenmore is not a big village, but it seems to be where Buffalo bands come to retire.
I love it has Porchfest.
Started on lower east side with Not Normal (rock), then across town for Dellwood and the Nightshades (alt/indie) then caught Sector Seven-G (80s, 90s rock).

Map of a village about a mile wide with 68 porches marked as venues.
The covered patio of Oriental Palace with three guitarists and a drummer playing.
Assorted lawn chairs across a double-wide lawn with five person band — keyboard, guitar, bass, drums, vocalist.
A deep shaded bungalow front porch with a guitarist, drummer, bassist, and singer.

One of my favorite @… stickers 💚🩵💙
#SoftwareFreedom #sticker #foss

Rectangular sticker with text "my device,
my choice". In the background are doodles of cables, a router, a monitor with keyboard and mouse and a grumpy face, a hand holding up a smartphone, a surveillence camera, a pen drive, a lighbulb and some partially out-of-frame, hard-to-recognize ones. Everything is drawn in the style of a black marker pen. The words device and choice are highlighted with a red shadow. The text fsfe.org is in the lower left corner.

Apparently Google’s Modern Web Guidance accessibility megaskill believes it should only be called when a dev explicitly asks for accessibility in the output?
Which doesn’t quite track with the promise on the MWG home page.
