i wish there was an easier way of sharing long, anonymized discord conversations than taking a ton of screenshots and editing them
pondering this idea yesterday, i came up with the idea of a bot that, given two "boundary" messages in a command, generates a shareable webpage of the conversation between those messages, with all users except, if desired, the one issuing the command being anonymized
would probably still require consent from every user involved, but in principle, this feels like it should be possible

I just watched the Antisocial Network. I found it questionable that they let Kirtaner appear to take credit for the Parler scrape of video data about January 6. But I did appreciate that they got his character arc generally right, about how Kirtaner fell squarely on the "troll" side of the Anonymous schism, and not the "activist" side of the schism, originally... He only tried to take up the "activist" nomenclature and symbols, after coming out of retirement, to fight this battle against QAnon.
