I wonder why this is? Is the Jewish concept of nature or our place in the world/universe different in a way that’d lead to this? Maybe the emphasis on the here and now over the afterlife or an apocalyptic end leads to focusing on seeing worldly problems as more pressing?
I don’t get it. But I’m Jewish and see climate change as a crisis. I’m not sure I’m grounding that understanding on religious grounds.
