Disgust is an emotion
Lots of things disgust me. Dirty public toilets. Sushi. There's plenty of disgusting porn out there. or go to a hot dog factory. It's revolting.
One person's feelings of disgust are not relevant to civic discussion of issues and laws.

Me seatmate on the flight tonight was afraid of flying, flying for the first time, a smoker who really needed her cigarettes, unable to find the rest rooms, permanently tangled in her cords, and prone to lashing out with verbal abuse if the Jack & Coke: was not immediate, was cut off, or was spilled on me (by her hand). To her credit, she only tried (unsuccessfully) to exit the plane at 30,000 feet the one time.

As the Dad of a 21-week preemie who died, a 23-week preemie who lives, and as a 30-week preemie myself.
No: not if it means offering more traumatized parents more uncertain efforts to save ever smaller babies.
It is already soul-flaying to have an early preemie. Many die. How a 23-week preemie *or a 30-week preemie* fares is a dice toss.
(My attempt to elaborate on that was just too hard.)
