Spent some time this evening trying to see if I can mount my nfs homedir to a WSL2 debian instance, and have idmapd do the right thing so that my userid gets handled correctly.
So far, not working at all, and the internet isn't helping much.
I have a bad feeling about this.
I did manage to get nfsv3 mounts working, and with the usual uid-switcharoo, perhaps that's the path of least resistance.
