A stretch of undeveloped California coastline on the border of Marin and Sonoma counties has officially opened to the public for the first time in a century.

@… I talk about it in context of feedback loops. The sooner you can get feedback from your team, the sooner you can stop yourself potentially wasting time doing something the team doesn’t agree we should be doing in the first place.

My fear is that funding for interdisciplinary projects will be even more difficult to obtain because the committees may tend even more to first fund their “core” disciplines.

Kind of an odd way to assure someone a poll is "completely anonymous," but I decided to answer Yes so I could take the poll. It was all questions about US national politics and approval/disapproval of various politicians and billionaires. I tried to answer truthfully, but on a few of them "strongly disapprove" is such an understatement that it almost doesn't feel truthful.
