On March 26, billionaire investor
David Sacks stepped down from his White House role as the
Special Advisor on AI and Crypto.
This may come as welcome news to people stupefied by the extent of Trump administration’s constant corporate giveaways to the AI and crypto industry, which Sacks orchestrated.
But don’t be fooled:
just a day before his departure as an advisor, Trump announced that Sacks would be co-chairing the President’s Council of Advisors on Science …

Venture capitalist David Sacks has warned that continued escalation in the U.S.–Israel conflict with Iran could trigger far-reaching economic and humanitarian crises
Speaking on the All-In podcast on Friday, Sacks — who serves as President Donald Trump’s lead on artificial intelligence and cryptocurrencies — argued that Iran’s military capacity has been severely degraded and called this “a good time to declare victory and get out,” adding that markets would welcome a de-escalatory move…

David Cronenberg, master of body horror movies, was born today (March 15) in 1943 (during World War II!)
I saw his films 'Crash' and 'Naked Lunch' early, around the same time, in 1997 or 1998. Since then, I've seen many more of his- I just counted, I've seen 13 of his 23 films, and I've loved all of them. I'm a huge fan. My favorite was Shivers for a while. I'm not sure what it is now. Gotta see those final 10!
Happy birthday, David. We love …

After Russia invaded Ukraine, his school changed almost overnight– teachers ordered to deliver government scripts and students marched through military drills. Talankin was required to film it all as the school videographer, and what he witnessed made him want to walk away from his job entirely. Instead, he connected with documentary director David Borenstein, and together they turned his footage into a feature film.
Borenstein said Talankin “wanted to show how quickly totalitarianism …

Mr Nobody Against Putin is an Oscar-winning documentary that tells the story of Pavel “Pasha” Talankin,
a primary school teacher and videographer who becomes an international whistleblower.
After being reluctantly drawn into Putin’s propaganda machine, he starts documenting how ordinary Russians are indoctrinated with pro-war messages and recruited for the war.
We speak to Talankin and the film’s co-director, David Borenstein.

Kligerman discussed the memo with Adam Klasfeld on the "Legal AF" podcast on Sunday.
He said the "dangerous"
