Eminently true for this new (almost one year!) e-bike owner!
In its first year, I’m on track to put ~2200 miles on the e-bike — and <1000 miles on the car. (In previous years, car mileage was ~3000-5000 mi/year.)
And per the study, I can say with confidence that I’m doing a whole lot of things on the e-bike that I would certainly have done on the car in the past: commuting, school transportation, groceries and errands — all theoretically bikable before, but mostly car-based in practice. Until now.
