I feel like I should just say that the Somali folks in my neighborhood are cool, and their kids go to school with mine, and the kids are hilarious and sweet and rambunctious and full of kid-ness just like…you know…kids, and sambusas are yummy, and most Somali restaurants serve spaghetti (because of Italian colonial history, mostly straight-up Italian style but with a subtle Somali twist), and I’m glad my Somali neighbors are my neighbors, and ICE can GTFO now and forever, please and thank you.

Die „Zwischen-Prüf“-Demo in Regensburg heute war nett und hatte ein paar gute Teile - passt aber nicht wirklich zur eigentlichen Idee der Prüf-Kampagne.
Dafür habe ich in den Reden deutlich zu viel „gegen“ und „AfD“ gehört.
Die wohl mit Abstand beste Rede, die auch der Prüf-Idee gerecht wurde, kam vom Vetreter der DGB-Jugend.
Die Kernidee von Prüf ist ja gerade, nicht gegen etwas (die AfD) zu demonstrieren sondern für etwas - nämlich das Prüfverfahren.

Die CDU BW plakatiert "Politik für normale Leute". Ich finde das ziemlich krass, nicht nur, weil Dogwhistle nach rechts (in die Kategorie fallen auch Interviews bei NZZ etc.), sondern auch, weil das genau genommen ja eine Unterscheidung einzieht: zwischen den "Normalen", für die ein CDU-MP Politik machen möchte, und dem Rest des Landes, das links liegen gelassen werden soll. Oder ganz holzschnittartig: eine Stadt wie Freiburg fällt hinten runter.
