Is there a name for the trend in Millennials and Gen Z to mispronounce things because they don't talk to human beings often enough?

It has become relatively easy & affordable to put together an LED Matrix sign. Recently I put together a 6 panel display using 1/8 scan modules for something much brighter than the 1/16 & 1/32 scan modules I usually use. It's bright enough to carry around in high noon sunlight. (I wish it were brighter still)
For past projects with realtime graphics, I've used hzeller's raspberry pi library. Here I used the Huidu HD-D16 controller board that seems to be ARM FPGA …

Today I put Windows 10 LTSC on an old work desktop I wasn't using for anything. It's amazing how fast computers go when they don't have all the shit installed on them.
Tomorrow I will dig up an old graphics card from a drawer in the office to put in it, because the other thing I have learned today is that the number of games you can play with an Intel HD 4600 graphics chipset is zero.

I see that Nintendo has started charging $10 and $20 upgrade fees to Nintendo Switch 2. This is different from the approach Microsoft generally took in offering free graphics upgrades for next gen consoles.
One problem I have with the upgrades is they add a digital component to a physical game I already have. From a handling standpoint, it's the worst of both worlds.
Overall, it's one huge reason I'm not eager to upgrade to

At the SIGGRAPH conference in 1984, Bill Atkinson and designer Susan Kare did a live demo of MacPaint. People were blown away - the design, the ease of use, the responsiveness. It set the paradigm for almost every graphics application in use today.
I have a message into the SIGGRAPH history people to see if a video of the presentation survives, but back then it's not likely.
