Folks,
If you like Guppe Groups, let me remind you at the same time a year ago they were about to close the project due to insufficient funding.
These days their financial situation exceeds declared minimums, but I'm not sure if it stays that way past the anniversary of their previous call for help (for example, I treated yearly membership as one-time donation because OpenCollective doesn't know the concept of one-time tip).

The still on-going #spam wave shows that we desperately need real #groups on Mastodon, i.e. groups with admins that can add and remove users from the group. guppe-groups are easy prey for the spammers and make using Mastodon a real pain these days.
