Dismantling the sawmill motor to investigate an ignition failure. Changing the spark plug didn't help. It could be the HT lead but my local small engine guru says probably the coil.
Getting to the coil requires dismantling a whole lot of stuff...

Motor with the recoil starter removed. To the left of the motor is the carburettor, below which is a red lever which operates both the fuel tap and the stop switch, which operates by shorting the coil.

Unfortunately the coil itself is inside the black cover, roughly behind the red lever...
Detail removing the carburettor, so that I remember how the return spring reconnects.
To remove the black cover, I had to take off the air cleaner, the carburettor, the exhaust, a heat shield, and loosen the fuel tank.

I've only lost one bolt down inside the motor so far!

In this picture the coil is visible just inside the opened black cover.

On Wednesday,
the Washington Post
named the Economist’s Washington correspondent
Adam O’Neal as its next opinion editor.
In his announcement on Twitter, O’Neal parroted his new boss’ words from last February almost verbatim,
telling Post readers in a chummy front-facing camera announcement that:
[Washington Post opinion page writers and editors are] going to be stalwart advocates of free markets and personal liberties.
We’ll be unapologetically patri…
